I love quotes. I really love quotes. To me, sharing a quote is a way of acknowledging another person’s brilliance in having said something perfectly. And because quotes are so important to me, I had to make a page dedicated to sharing just a few of my favorite quotes. So here they are.
“Whatever you want to do, do it now. There are only so many tomorrows.” -Michael Landon
“Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly.” -Langston Hughes
“To dare is to lose one’s footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose one’s self.” -Soren Kierkegaard
“One does not discover new lands without consenting to lose sight of shore for a very long time.” -Andre Gide
“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.” -Dr. Seuss
“You don’t have to burn books to destroy a culture. Just get people to stop reading them.” -Ray Bradbury
“People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone.” -Audrey Hepburn
“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round heads in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules and they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify them, or vilify them. But the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And some may seem them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.” -Jack Kerouac
